Spring Season 2023 Update

Hope you're all getting ready for our new season! MLB pitchers and catchers report to spring training on Feb 13, just days away! Our players report the same week!
1) LEADING OFF : Thanks to those of you that made it out to the Family First Pitch Meeting on Wednesday; it was a great start to the season. For those that didn't make it, here’s a link to the slides so please check it out for important updates about Opening Day and upcoming fun events!
2) ON DECK : We are working hard to finalize teams and schedules, and you should hear from your Coach via Teamsnap during the week of Feb 6. First practices will happen during the week of Feb 13 and save the date for Opening Day, Saturday Feb 25!
3) IN THE HOLE : OGSL at Cal Softball tickets sales are open! UC Berkeley (Cal) vs. UCLA. Sunday, March 12, 12pm. We have reserved 100 tickets in the outfield General Admission (no assigned seats). Cost is $10 per ticket and $4 of each sale benefits OGSL. Face value of these tickets is $10 (youth) and $20 (adults), so a good deal if you purchase from us! This is a great way to show your players what "the big girls" play like! Invite your family! 4) CLEAN UP : Our COVID Plan for Spring 2023 has been updated. In a nutshell--please stay home if you don't feel well, and stay home from practices and games for 5 days after confirmed positive for COVID. There are additional details in the attached document for instances of known COVID exposure, in line with California Department of Public Health (CDPH), so please read and refer to this throughout the season if COVID crosses your path. Stay well on the fields this season!
